The first one is Seven Steps to Get Out of Debt and Build Wealth. This amazing book by Adeola Omole chronicles the story of how she paid off over $300,000 in debt and build a 7 figure net worth which includes real estate and stocks and bonds.
Her story is particularly interesting because she went through a lot of different changes in her life like multiple layoffs even though she had a great profession as a lawyer. In the midst of this, she realized how much consumer debt she was in and decided to make some serious changes to her finances. She developed a strategy that worked for her and her family which has led to her success today.
This book is an inspirational story and provides practical steps you can apply using the same strategies Adeola used. It’s a great and easy read, and you will not be disappointed. I love this book and still refer to it years after reading it for the first time.
You are a Badass at Making Money
You are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero is the book you need today to help you with your money mindset. Jen offers practical tips to help you think about the thoughts that you have about money and to reframe them with the ultimate goal of attaining a healthy money mindset.
I started reading this book because I realized that my money mindset makes a huge difference in determining my relationship with money. This is critical in building wealth as you need to be able to think in abundance and not scarcity. The more I used the strategies offered in this book, the more my thoughts around money begun to change. I go back and read this book whenever I feel anxious, or I’m having bad thoughts about money.
This book is very pragmatic and Jen’s writing style is quite animated, there is no dull moment in this book. So you will enjoy her stories, but it also gives you a scientific look at your money mindset and provides habits and tools to eliminate any negative mindset that you have around money and scarcity.
We Should All Be Millionaires
We should all be millionaires by Rachel Rodgers is one of those books that will snap you into shape and get you moving yesterday. Rachel Rodgers runs her own consulting company, Hello7 and is on a mission to make all women become millionaires. The book chronicles the history of how women have had their earning potential significantly eroded because of their lack of rights, whether it’s voting rights or the rhetoric we get from the media.
It’s a great book because it provides a very good overview of how you can become a millionaire. She walks you through different strategies to help you make seven figures and beyond. It’s highly recommended because it’s not only about figuring out how to make money, but it’s also about empowering you to make great financial decisions that will help you build wealth and a life of happiness.
She walks you through her ideology of bad ass decisions and broke ass decisions, and takes you through a million dollar roadmap that covers how to price your products, build a great team and implement million dollar boundaries. This book is very empowering and has great reviews. But it also helps you to think about what it’s like to really be a high-earning, woman, and what it will take for you to get there.
